چکیده
Fishery resources assessment is the basis of scientific management and sustainable development fisheries. Trichiurus lepturus , one major commercial fishes in East China Sea, great significance to study its stocks status. Based on length frequency data T. collected Sea from 2016 2020, we estimated asymptotic length, optimal at first capture, relative mortality, biomass stock using length–based Bayesian estimation (LBB). The analysis shows a high exploitation rate low suggesting that has been overfished currently under heavy fishing pressure. Although number vessels decreased by 29% horsepower only 9%, indicating pressure fishery still high. To recover stock, consider reduction intensity enforcing size–at–first–capture regulations be imperative. In addition reducing boats horsepower, it essential increase escape proportion juvenile fish increasing mesh size, reduce catch. result this can provide informative reference for data–limited conditions.

Genetic Variations between Hairtail (Trichiurus lepturus) Populations from Korea and China
PCR analysis generated on the genetic data showed that the geographic hairtail (Trichiurus lepturus) population from Korea in the Yellow Sea was more or less separated from geographic hairtail population from China in the South Sea. The average bandsharing value (mean±SD) within hairtail population from Korea showed 0.859±0.031, whereas 0.752±0.039 within population from China. Also, bandsharin...
متن کاملKuroshio Meanders in the East China Sea
An array of seven inverted echo sounders was moored along and across the Kuroshio in the East China Sea for more than one year. The data from this array show evidence of energetic meanders with periods of 7, 11, and 16 days. The respective phase velocities of these meanders are 28, 20, and 17 km day21 downstream. The 7and 16-day waves are intermittent, but the 11-day waves are present throughou...
متن کاملResearch Article: Life history traits of ribbonfish Trichiurus lepturus (Linnaeus, 1758) in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea
Ribbonfish, Trichiurus lepturus (Linnaeus, 1758), is an important component of subsistence fisheries throughout its tropical and subtropical distribution. The catch rate of ribbonfish has increased seven-fold in a decade in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea. We collected monthly biological samples from T. lepturus, to estimate growth and mortality parameters, and identify species reproductive patte...
